Wow

I heard this morning that Farrah Fawcett died and now I just heard Michael Jackson died. When I was a teen we used to look at Farrah's poster and wonder if we would ever fill out a bathing suit like she did. (No, we didn't). So very sad. To be honest, I've felt sad about Michael Jackson for many years now. I've heard his music since I was little. My sister and I had "The Osmonds" and "Jackson Five" posters on our walls. (Don't judge - we're old. I know). The past 10 years or so, Michael's life has seemed like it became really difficult. It was sad to see him on the news looking frail and very different. Hearing about the legal and money troubles. Just so different from when he was younger. What's really sad is he leaves behind three little children.

R.I.P. Farrah and Michael.

it's all very sad.

on a happier note - my sister had a little boy today!

let's hope he fills out a bathing suit in a different, but equally good kinda way one day, and has mad skills on the dance floor.

Farrah's poster was on the wall of every single one of my friends rooms. She was an icon, so sad.

The Onion reports that the last piece of Michael finally died. Ouch!

I feel terrible for those kids. I hope they don't grow up to be as damaged as MJ was by HIS family.

The deaths of Farrah and MJ in the same day is such a double-whammy, I still find it a bit hard to believe. I used to collect TV Guides and one of my prized copies is one I received from a fellow collector: the Sept. 25 1976 issue with Farrah, Kate Jackson, and Jaclyn Smith on the cover.

When I remember Michael, I choose to think of his music and his dazzling moves.

By the way, I found your blog via The Pop Eye.

I used to have such a crush on Michael Jackson, especially when he did Thriller and Beat It.

The radio stations were playing some of his songs, and I've forgotten how talented he was.
